Public Relations

Hello everyone, my name is Naidelyn and I was born and raised in Guatemala. I am a first generation student interested in the intersection between medicine and education as a way to provide preventative care and reduce health disparities in marginalized communties. I joined CHE because of its nurturing and welcoming environment. I appreciate how CHE provides a space for students to come together to work hard towards their goals and professional ambitions through the help of amazing mentors.

As part of the PR team we are responsible for coordinating community service events including but not limited to AJUA's within the Bay Area. We are also responsible for participating in Racies Caucus to stay up to date with community health concerns that affect the Latine population on campus.

Hey Chesties! My name is Danny, and I'm from Los Angeles, CA. I am a first gen, Mexican/Filipino student aspiring to represent my background in the medical field while delivering quality and accessible care to address disparties impacting my community. I joined CHE because of the familia. CHE is a communidad of inspiring students from similar backgrounds who can relate to eachother in one way or another. We all have similar goals of brining power and health equity to Latino communities that we will address in our future careers.

Within PR, my major responsibilities are organzing AJUAS (an event where we come together to pack lunches and informational pamphlets to distribute to journaleros in the Berkeley area). PR also plans additional community service events focused on community health
