Co-Chairs
Josselyne Marquez
Welcome to CHE! I'm Josselyne and I was born and raised in Salinas, CA. I am proudly Mexican-American, with roots in Sinaloa and Jalisco. I am a fourth year studying Chemical Biology and I aspire to become a medical doctor one day. My passions lie in rural medicine, surgery, and scientific research! I hope to contribute to a diverse and culturally competent medical system.
As Co-Chair, I hope to expand CHE's community involvement and provide further support for Latinx pre-health students!
Hello! My name is David, and I was born and raised in Montebello, CA. I am a Salvadoran-American first-gen student aspiring to address racial disparities in my community through empathetic medical care. I enjoy drawing, playing soccer, and running in my free time. I joined CHE to find a community of like-minded students here at Cal that I can rely on through my journey to medical school and beyond. CHE has been the foundation of my greatest achievements and also where I've met my closest friends. Overall CHE is a great resource for underrepresented students aspiring to make an impact in their communities.
