Treasurers

Hey! I'm Evelyn and I was born and raised in Napa, CA. I am proudly Peruvian- American as my parents immigrated from Peru! I am a first-generation student and hope to be a medical professional that provides care to Latinx underserved communities. I am passionate about healthcare access/equity. I also enjoy coloring, hanging out with friends, and cooking! I decided to join CHE because in a big school like Cal I wanted to find a group of Latinx students who had similar backgrounds and who were pre-health. I wanted to be apart of a space of like-minded individuals and that's exactly the type of community CHE is able to provide. Through CHE I am also able to get access to many resources and help underserved communities which is important to me!

As treasurer, along with my Co, our main responsibility is keeping track of budget funds and finances. We make financial decsions that are in the best interest of CHE and manage the funding for the many amazing events we will hold for the semester!

Hello! My name is Alfredo I am from a small little town right next to Mount Shasta. I am a Mexican-American student who is aspiring to be a neurosurgeon some day in the not so distant future. In my free time I enjoy weightlifting, listening to books, and taking in nature. I joined CHE because during my first year and a half of being here at Cal I had very few friends who looked like me or thought like me. However, after I met with Hugo Mora-Torres he told me that by joining CHE I will be involved  with a community and family of like minded individuals. Once joining CHE I realized that I found a supporting and caring community that I am proud to be a part of.

My responsibility as a treasure, along side my Co is to keep the club's finances orgainzed and well kept. We make sure to keep track of the budget and work closely with the rest of the board members to make sure that we can optimize the amount of events and opportunites that are available to us.
