Conference Coordinators

Hello! My name is David, and I was born and raised in Montebello, CA. I am a Salvadoran-American first-gen student aspiring to address racial disparities in my community through empathetic medical care. I enjoy drawing, playing soccer, and running in my free time. I joined CHE to find a community of like-minded students here at Cal that I can rely on through my journey to medical school and beyond. CHE has been the foundation of my greatest achievements and also where I've met my closest friends. Overall CHE is a great resource for underrepresented students aspiring to make an impact in their communities.

My responsibility is to plan the MIH conference and Spring/Fall mixers. Also to look out for any other conference opportunities CHE can be involved in.

Hello! I am Hilda. I was born and raised in El Salvador. I am interested in providing a sense of trust in the medical field. I want to make sure my community always feels safe going to their health care providers. I also enjoy painting, making scrapbooks, going to concerts, and watching movies. I got into CHE because I asked a friend about clubs that are welcoming for students who want a career in the medical field and he recommended CHE. I joined and immediately enjoyed its atmosphere and work.

My responsibilty is to help plan the MIH conference and spring/fall mixers along with my Co - Officer. We are also in charge of finding any other conference opportunities CHE can be involved in.
