Networking

Hi everyone! My name Delilah and I am from Downey, CA. I am a fourth year studying MCB and public health and aspire to be able to give back to my community by working in health to help bridge the gap between underserved communities and push for equitable access to healthcare. Aside from academia I enjoy cooking, baking, and live music. I joined CHE because of the sense of community it offers. The kindness and helpfulness of its members struck me from the beginning, and I felt instantly welcomed. Moreover, the resources and opportunities provided by CHE have been instrumental in my professional development. It's truly gratifying to be part of a group where I can connect with individuals who share similar backgrounds and values, making the journey all the more enriching and fulfilling.

As a part of the Networking team I have the responsibility of actively seeking opportunities to establish and maintain relationships with individuals, organizations, and professionals who align with our organization's goals and objectives. In line with our mission to create a strong network, we work to facilitate networking amongst our members with other health professionals and to help foster a sense of community though our work. We also have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships throughout many social events throughout the year to encourage community and foster support and fun for our members!
